The
Overland Track is located in the central plateau
of Tasmania, this is a historic track that links
Cradle mountain in the north to Lake St. Clair
in the south, and would be regarded as one of
the best hiking trails in Australia.
Approx. 70km of track (not including side tracks)
comprising mud, rock, and beautifully weathered
timber boards traverse the mountains, alpine plateaus,
highlands, forests, and distinctive button grass
moors of Tasmania.
